Eagle
Scout Selects Cross of Christ for Service Project |

| Colin
Smythe, Senior Patrol Leader with Troop No. 520 in Cedar Hill, selected
his home church, Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in DeSoto, Texas as the
recipient of his service project to complete his Eagle Scout requirement.
The church’s utility shed was torn down to the studs by the Scouts
and Colin’s sister, Emily, a Girl Scout herself, and then rebuilt
under Colin’s direction. Colin as a Senior Patrol Leader is over approximately 63 other Scouts and has served as chaplain of his Troop. He is active in Cross of Christ’s youth program and has led a bible study on Discrepancies in the Bible. |
