| Hello,
my name is Karen Olvera. I will be teaching the Pre-School 3 class this year. I have been in childcare for 11 years and this will be my 3rd year here at Cross of Christ. I am looking forward to this year. It is my greatest desire to make this school year an all around success. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to share the Word of God with the children of our future. “My goals are to introduce to children, the love of learning, the knowledge that God is the Author of all, and the understanding of how precious they are to Jesus.” |

| Hello,
I’m Margaret Olvera. I am very excited to be given the opportunity to come join your program and become part of your staff. I will try my best to do a good job. I have been in Daycare settings for 18 years and have enjoyed everyday of it. I’ve done homecare for four years around the neighborhood in Dallas before I moved to Red Oak while my son was small so it’s been about 22 years. But I like the Daycare setting better. I get to meet more people of different cultures and it’s an adventure for me. I learn something every day. I will enjoy being in your program in the 2 year old class with new challenges. I keep up with my training to do a good job. Thank you again and please come visit. |

| Hello,
I am Linda Hinckley. I became a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church on February 24, 1991. I began working at the Day School in the fall of 1992 as a teacher’s aide for the preschool class. As a teacher’s aide for six years, I gained the necessary experience and practical knowledge to prepare me for the position of preschool teacher. I assumed the duties of preschool teacher in 1998. I continue to take great joy in teaching these young students. I am a native Texan and married my high school sweetheart, Don Hinckley, in 1971. We are the proud parents of two sons, Nicholas, age 24, and Patrick, age 20. |
