Missions


"Go therefore ..." Matthew 28: 19ff	A high priority of Cross of Christ has been Missions, the 'Reaching' part of our mission statement. Cross of Christ is actively providing a variety of support (prayer, financial, facilities, etc) directly to missionaries serving with POBLO (People of the Book Lutheran Outreach) and Wycliffe Bible Translators. The International Linguistics Center and international headquarters for Wycliffe Bible Translators is located only ten miles from our church. In addition, Cross of Christ is actively involved in the support of the Board for Missions of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Through the support of an active Lutheran Women in Mission organization, many mission projects are also supported.
